Zest has been serving Koh Tao residents and tourists as long as anyone can remember, and has locations in both Sairee and Mae Haad. So regardless of where you are staying, you’re bound to be within easy distance of one of their top-rated breakfast and lunch spots.
Zest brands itself as a coffee house and bakery, so you can expect some great blends and tempting pastries and cakes as well as an array of breakfasts, sandwiches and salads. If you have a sweet tooth, you’ll be sure to like the dessert options too.
Food
For a small café, Zest has an extensive menu with breakfast options ranging from traditional sets and fry-ups to yoghurt, cornflakes and some classic western favourites like beans on toast, porridge, and crepes. The sandwich and salad menus offer excellent value as the breads are freshly baked and the quality of ingredients is high. Zest special sandwiches are very popular and have been named after some of the islands favourite dive sites.
The food at Zest is fresh and unprocessed, and if none of the salads or sandwiches take your fancy, you can make your own by selecting individual items from the à la carte options. There is also a selection of burgers and a few other main course dishes, including a vegan menu. Sweets include pastries, muffins, cakes and mousse.
Drinks
Zest sells coffees of virtually every variety and a range of teas, plus shakes, smoothies, and soft drinks. They also sell local beers.
