Ferry & Bus
Travel to Koh Tao : Ferry & Bus
Daytime ferry companies Lomprayah, Seatran & Songserm all have joint ferry & bus tickets taking you to popular destinations in South & West Thailand. Lomprayah & Songserm go north to Hua Hin & Bangkok as well.
Every night except Monday there is a car ferry departing from Koh Tao with A/C and bunk beds heading for Chumpon. On arrival with this car ferry we can book you onto the Victoria Point visa run or a minivan/ bus to Bangkok with our partner company Fame Tour.
In both cases you are met at the pier, staff are there to assist & point you in the right direction.
Most nights, with a schedule decided monthly (and often subject to change) there are car ferries going to and from Surat Thanni, if you take this ferry you can link up with many bus options across to the Andaman side and to the South for Malaysia.
Our partner bus company is Surat Thanni is Udomrat Tour. Any joint bus ticket with the Surat night ferry you will be met as you disembark by the guys from Udomrat Tour. Their office a few minutes stroll away, there you have time for a coffee and the bus picks you up, all very smooth & easy.
Schedules/ timetables often change, if you wish to know which night ferry is running on a certain night / departure times etc.. please email your question to [email protected].
