Milk & Honey is Koh Tao’s only dedicated middle eastern eatery, and the owners pride themselves on the quality of their authentic Israeli cuisine, with additional influences from the Mediterranean and North Africa. The café sits in a large, spacious garden so we’re definitely expecting expansion to homegrown organic ingredients in the near future. With its own driveway leading down from the road, there is plenty of on-site parking for scooters and bicycles.
The premises itself is light and airy with plenty of shade and lots of fans to ensure a comfortable eating experience. The café comprises several seating areas. Choose between taking in some sun on the outside patio, relaxing on a shady indoor table, or making yourself comfortable on a sofa in the air-conditioned chill-out room, which is complete with a small library of books that diners are welcome to read during their visit.
Serving traditional middle eastern cuisine with a modern flair, Milk & Honey offer breakfasts, snacks, lunches, and a few larger meal options too. Salads, pita pockets, homemade hummus, and a range of sides like tahini, babaganoush, falafels, and labneh cheese are available daily. Most options are vegetarian and vegan friendly, although a range of meat dishes are also featured. If you have any space left after your meal, be sure to check out the ‘fridge of temptation’ which is full of yummy goodies like home-baked banana bread and chocolate brownies.
Milk & Honey serves up soft drinks, coffees, shakes, fresh pressed juices, kombucha, and a range of alcoholic beverages. Choose from local beers, cider, or one of the delicious house specialty cocktails.
