Location: Barracuda Rooftop Restaurant & Bar is the sister restaurant of Barracuda at Darawan. Situated on a rooftop terrace on the northern corner of the walking street that runs along Sairee Beach, the restaurant is easy to access for anyone staying in Sairee.

Just like its counterpart in south Sairee, Barracuda Rooftop Restaurant & Bar offers fine dining in a relaxed environment, and the spacious terrace has a stunning view looking down to Sairee Beach and across the ocean towards the mainland. The restaurant is split over the main floor and a mezzanine floor and is tastefully decorated. 

Popular with tourists and locals alike, Barracuda Rooftop Restaurant & Bar is a hub of activity most evenings, so booking ahead is recommended. Groups of all sizes can be accommodated, and the daily happy hour from 4pm -7pm allows for an amazing sunset view with a cocktail in hand before sitting down to enjoy your meal. 

The restaurant is run by owner and head chef Ed Jones and his team. You can even enjoy the amazing tastes of Barracuda Rooftop Restaurant & Bar without leaving your villa if you want to, as Ed offers a private dining service. 

Food

The menu here is similar to that of its sister restaurant so you will still find a large selection of seafood, plus plenty of vegetarian and meat options in addition to the trademark fish dishes. The popular “Thai Fusion” range is also on the Barracuda Rooftop Restaurant & Bar menu, and a British roast dinner is served every Sunday with options for beef, pork, chicken, or lamb. 

Drinks

Barracuda Rooftop Restaurant & Bar has an impressive bar that forms the centre point for the main floor of the restaurant. You can browse the shelves and wine fridge, or select a cocktail from the extensive menu. Local beers and a range of soft drinks and fruit juices are also available.
